CATTLE

Barber County Kansas is well known for its extensive cattle pastures. The Moon Ranch is comprised of several old family cattle ranches. These ranches were homesteaded for many generations, by the same families who created a living off the land. The Moon Ranch is continuing this legacy with its own Cow/Calf operation. Our focus is to create a healthy ecosystem for all the animals that call Moon Ranch home. With proper pasture rotation, we strive to preserve habitat as well as restore the native grasses found across the landscape ensuring that we will leave the Ranch in its best condition for our next generation of cattle ranchers.
